Tuesday, February 3rd is our Quarterly After Hours with Dr. John Newkirk. Dr. Newkirk is a local Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who provides our guests with Cosmetic Botox Injections, Juvederm Dermal filler and the newest cosmetic cheek volumizer by Allergan - Voluma. He is providing Botox injections for only $10 per unit at our February event. RSVP is required and there are only a very few spots left. Please call the Spa immediately IF you would like to attend.
Throughout the month we are offering Chocolate Treats galore! These services are not only delightful, but they are genuinely effective and guaranteed to not add a single ounce on the scale. We have been practicing with all of these and everyone is gushing about them.
We have the Chocolate Lovers Massage - which is a 60 minute relaxing full-body massage, scented with an amazing chocolate cake oil. Oh Momma! We can say that it is calorie free, but your taste buds will be watering so much that you just might need to indulge afterward . . but, hey! That's up to you. This Valentine's Massage is $85 for the hour.
I experienced the Chocolate & Roses nail service today. You'll begin in a fragrant warm foot soak with delicious floating rose petals that dissolve into essential oils to hydrate tired tootsies. Then receive a scrub made with cocoa, chocolate oils and coconut. Repeat this for both manicure and pedicure. I painted my nails a decadent deep rose color and feel quite pleased with myself. Both nails services make up this Valentine package for $99.
Now the Chocolate and Strawberry Scrub is just . . . well . . . delicious! No other way to describe it. Imagine being slathered - head-to-toe - in antioxidant rich, mouth watering Peruvian Cocoa. That alone is enough to do me in! Add to that the strawberry sugar scrub - beginning with the soles of you feet, gently massaging and exfoliating - bit by sweet bit - until your entire body feels as soft as a newborn babe. Oh, Sweet Momma! If you're feeling up to it after, add on a gorgeous just-off-the-beach spray tan and, Oh Boy(!), you will be feeling AND looking oh so FINE! The scrub is $75 and add the spray tan for an additional $25.
Just interested in from the neck up? Marci is offering a Chocolate Truffle facial made by her favorite botanical line, Skinscripx. She will delight you with this remarkable treatment that not only hydrates dry winter skin but is a treat for the senses as well! You'll begin your facial with a Raspberry Peach enzyme. This is packed with antioxidants for an anti-aging facial good for all skin types. Then the sweet Cocoa is used to impart moisture for dehydrated skin. Note: Raspberry contains high levels of polyphenol antioxidant ellagic acid which soothes skin irritations and reduces inflammation, while peach softens and is aromatically relaxing. Hibiscus flower (flower power) and pumpkin add the exfoliating properties to this enzyme. You'll finish your skin session with a Dark Chocolate Mint Mask: Cocoa, glycerin and squalene are excellent emollients, lubricants and humectants to draw moisture to dry, flaky skin. Vitamin E is an excellent anti-aging antioxidant. Recommended for normal, combination and dry skin types. Pink flushing from the Dark Chocolate Mint Mask is expected and normal. This hour long mini vacation is yours for $90.
And the last Valentine's Day offering is our LOVERS MASSAGE FOR TW0. You and your significant other will be escorted into our private suite where you'll lay upon your heated massage beds and gaze face-to-face. Our goal though, is to relax you both into your own individual place of bliss. You'll be transported with essential oils of chocolate covered cherries while you each receive a full hour of relaxing, gentle warm pressure for the essence of tranquility. Your couples massage service will be followed up with a chilled bottle of Prosecco, cheese and fruit plate. The rest of the romance will be up to you! :You will need to call to schedule your $210 LOVERS MASSAGE as there is specific coordination required on our end.
Spa 131 is in such an exciting state of growth! Thanks to YOU, our 2015 has had an outstanding beginning. BEST news is the addition of our new Professional Skincare providers. We have the lovely Holly LaMountain joining us to provide facial services with an emphasis on treating problem skin. We now have a Teen Facial on our treatment menu for those 16 to 20. Holly will be providing full waxing services INCLUDING Brazilians - which so many of you have been asking for. Now listen to THIS: Holly is a professional WEDDING PLANNER/DIRECTOR. If you know someone newly engaged, please pass the good news along. Spa 131 can now help with the festivities and provide makeup for the entire wedding party - including relaxing services for the handsome groom!
The darling Kandace Wilson will be a part of the Spa 131 team soon. She is completing some certifications right now but is the best makeup artist that I know and a licensed cosmetologist. Spa 131 will never offer hair services, but Kandance is available for styling at Weddings, Proms, Photography Sessions for or other special events. You are going to be fighting for a chance to be on her schedule. She will be available for facial services, makeup and other exciting services real soon. Both Kandace and Holly are available for off-site events when necessary.
Licensed Massage Therapists, Amy and Derek, are very busy making your friends and neighbors feel better. Their regular visitors are understanding that regular and consistent massage sessions are improving their productivity, their recreation events and over all well-being. Most are rescheduling before they leave and that is making our appointment book appear fuller when you go online. If you don't see what you want, please pick up the phone and call us. Sometimes we can see availability when it looks unavailable. We will always do what we can do accommodate you.
Having said that, remember that Moe is available evenings-after work - for healthy nail services and she is always working Saturdays at Spa 131.
